How does the programme work?
The 12-week Mindful Coach programme is based on Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Life which is scientifically evidenced and incorporates skills-based learning approaches. This style of learning deepens your understanding and creates new habits which positively impact you and the people you work with.
Each week, we will meet online 1-to-1 for 1.5 hours to programme your brain so you can achieve focus and attention.
We will cover all of the key areas detailed below, but I’ll tailor the course to your specific needs. I will hold space for you to guide you through and be with you every step of the way as we journey through your transformation.
Once you have learnt mindfulness skills for yourself, you will then learn how to deliver safe and authentic practices for your clients so that you are both present and focused for the call.
As well as the 1-to-1 calls, 30 minutes of daily practice are required for the skills development and neurological changes to take place and become embedded.
FAQ

I work with clients who are passionate about having an impact, they often feel like they are not getting the results they could be because their minds are so busy and overwhelmed that their thoughts get in the way of them showing up for their business and their clients.
Loads of them have tried meditation and mindfulness but they don’t tap into its real power because they don’t know how.
Over the years of working with these types of clients, I have realised that the same gaps were coming up time and time again.
Having a busy and scattered mind stops both the coach and the client from being fully present in their session which affects the ability to deeply listen, question effectively, build strong safe connections and be open to creativity.
I will teach you the mindfulness skills to be effective and impactful right from the very start through to the end and get the results you really want.
When you’re a more impactful coach, you get more recommendations - and more clients.

💫 Recognise the potential for mindfulness and meditation to create some powerful shifts in how you show up as a coach (but maybe haven’t been able to fully tap into them yet)
💫 Have tried meditation but struggled to stick to it
💫 Love the idea of developing a powerful mindfulness practice that is specifically designed to support you in your coaching and being able to offer safe and authentic meditations for your clients.

Here are the 4 steps you will learn in the Mindful Coach programme:
Step 1: Presence
Have you ever started a client session and your mind just hasn’t been there - you’ve felt flustered or scattered, maybe because of something that’s just happened before the session?
It can be difficult to bring your thoughts back and before you know it, half the session has gone and you haven’t really been present at all.
Being truly present during your sessions isn’t always easy, but when you are it allows you to:
✅ Quickly build a strong, safe open connection with your client.
✅ Concentrate and be effective from the very start.
✅ Quickly refocus when your mind has wandered away
Step 2: Mindful self-awareness
You might be thinking, ‘well, I’m self-aware, Sally’ - and yes, most coaches are. But there is a difference between being self-aware and mindfully self-aware. You might be great at identifying your thoughts, feelings and emotions but without mindfulness, it’s easy to add judgment, self-criticism and even avoidance into the mix which creates more thinking and unease. In coaching, it’s good to be self-aware but if you’re unable to let go of unhelpful thinking with kindness, it’s hard to refocus on your client and have the impact you want
When you are mindfully self-aware you can:
✅ Recognise the kinds of thoughts that often trip you up.
✅ Build acceptance and trust in your own ability to coach intuitively
✅ Show kindness and compassion to yourself when working with a difficult client
✅ Still, feel grounded in emotional or uncomfortable conversations
Step 3: Responsive
Have you ever had a coaching session where you think you might have said the wrong thing, suggested the wrong solution or perhaps you’ve been emotionally triggered yourself by something the client has said? Or perhaps you’re working in your business and you start comparing yourself to others, feeling like an imposter or criticising yourself. This is because it’s easy to react impulsively when you’re on autopilot and mindfully unaware. Mindfulness helps you to notice those first signs of stress so that you can make a choice to respond more skilfully.
When you are able to be responsive you can:
✅ Be okay with the unpleasant e.g. if your client is emotional or if you have your own worries and stresses in the background
✅ Act and speak with intention, be more creative, open to new ideas and better at problem-solving, taking mindful pauses if needed.
✅ Listen more deeply so that your clients feel truly heard and understood.
Step 4: Self-Compassion and Inner Peace
Running a coaching business is hard. You have to wear all the hats from CEO, to marketing guru, to accountant and more. You have a hundred and one things to juggle. This can often feel overwhelming and a great opportunity for your mean inner critic to tell you you’re not doing it right, you’re not good enough, your offer needs to change or you need more training. You compare yourself to other coaches and feel like an imposter. This can cause low mood or stress and impact how you show up for your business and your clients.
When you build self-compassion and inner peace you can:
✅ You live more in the present moment and can let go of negative thinking that gets in the way of you being productive in your daily tasks.
✅ You are kinder to yourself and able to regulate your emotions so stress passes more quickly and you can find your inner peace.
✅ You are generally more at ease and calm so you are able to show up for your clients with a calmer presence, even in stressful calls.
✅ You have self-compassion and more compassion for your clients.
Step 5: Guide a mindfulness practice
Sometimes it’s not you, it’s them. When you have a client who is emotional, talkative or has rushed in from another meeting you can easily lose much of the session with unnecessary and unfocused chatter or offloading. You might be feeling totally focused but unless your client is too, you may not get the impact and the results you could have if you were both present from the start.
When you are able to guide a mindful practice to your client you can:
✅ Help regulate their nervous system and settle their mind so they are focused
✅ Ensure you get down to business straight away and get more done in the session.
✅ Manage your client for a more effective and impactful session.

The Mindful Coach programme is based on the infamous Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy for Life written by Oxford Mindfulness Foundation.
This programme has been specifically adapted to include exercises to develop and support you as a coach.
Each week has a different theme, each one building carefully onto the next to help you become a confident coach with maximum impact.
The themes of the course are as follows:

Week 2: Connecting to the body to stay present
Week 3: Integrating Mindfulness into Coaching
Week 4: Our Relationship to Thoughts
Week 5: Turning towards Difficulties.
Week 6: Practicing Kindness to Self and Clients
Week 7: Mindfulness in daily coaching activities

As with any transformational change, it takes time to cultivate and train the mind to be able to detach from the thinking that gets in the way of you being a great coach.
This programme is for coaches who are fully committed to up-levelling and ready to make this a priority in their schedule. Need help with it all? This is what I'm good at!
To achieve these results requires complete commitment for the full 12 weeks.
If you don’t have time to attend weekly 1.5 hour 1-to-1 sessions with me and do 30 minutes of daily meditation practice (in your own time but I will guide you on how to do this effectively) then this isn’t the programme for you.
This programme also may not be suitable for you if you have recently had a traumatic event like a bereavement or serious illness, if you suffer from PTSD or are currently in a depressive relapse or in the middle of a major upheaval like moving house. If this is you, it would be helpful to have a call with me first so check it is the right time.
The clients who get the best results are those who block the time in, in the same way you would for your family or your personal trainer. Just like training for a marathon, consistency and regular practice are key.
I want you to get the incredible results you deserve. So you wouldn’t be alone on your journey. If you choose to commit to the programme, I will be there for you throughout - leading, holding and supporting you all the way.

Kind words
“I didn’t expect the amount of gifts she’d share with me…in my sessions I’m more grounded, more present and a better coach… I’m really listening and in the moment…I feel lighter, I’m less hard on myself, I have more self-compassion, I give myself more kindness, I’m more focused and present….I don’t say it lightly but this programme has probably been life-changing for me. Sally is an absolute delight to work with, she’s the kindest person, gives so much, so supportive. I recommend anyone to take her programme”
— Noelle Morgan, Leadership and Mindset Coach
“Mindfulness played a really important role in being able to sit with those [difficult] feelings like stress, overwhelm, sadness, confusion that I used to use alcohol to distract myself with. I wanted to bring those skills to my clients in my coaching too…I can now use mindfulness in my coaching now so I’m an even better coach and they are getting better results”
— Chloe Myers, Sobriety Coach
